I was always told not to burst them, as it's usually better not to damage the skin's integrity. Dab a little alcohol on the site(whisky is good) this should dry out the spot and also acts as a disinfectant should the skin break. There is no real way to stop getting spots - but drinking a lot of water, sleeping enough, using an unperfumed moisturizer (plain soft white paraffin cream is good - from any chemist) and cutting out toxins like nicotine, caffeine and alcohol will make the inflammation less. Regular exercise helps - I find the chlorine in swimming pools dries out any threatening outbreaks...
Exfoliate regularly, use a face pack to open them up, maybe a steam bath for them, a dab of toothpaste at night dries them up nicely!
Pop them first and then put some sudacream on the popped spot, I know it sounds gross but it works for me. And then wash your face regularly to stop pores in your skin from clogging up and getting dirty.
Or you could try the method celebrities are always on about... that's putting some of your wee on the spots. Don't know if that works?? I stick to the first method myself, lol.

They sound like Millia,are they around or underneath your eyes,nose and cheeks?. Dont try to pop them it wont work, it will just really hurt you. If they dont clear up by themselves then go and see your doctor and you should get treatment if they bother you a lot.

well, your not supposed to pop them, but i understand that if your going out in public, you can't be seen with THAT on your face. You should try TEA TREE OIL you can buy it at Wal*Mart, or Shoppers Drug Mart, you just add some into your face wash, and it cleans the bacteria.. and you can also add some into your shampoo, it helps take the oil and grease out of your hair, and it also works on lice too.. it has many uses, its handy to have.
Lance it with a hot needle under a flame. Use a tissue to soak up the puss, but be sure not too hard of pressure, because it will push the infection deeper into the skin and cause it to spread. I also use a little benzoyl peroxide to dry it up so it doesn't cause a scar. Good luck.

Use a luffa often and scrub hard...sometimes it's uncomfortable, but it works.
