use herbal active face wash containing honey and citron that acts as an cooling agent and astingent properties.

eat cereals and avoid spicy stuff.

mud pack do wonders.

dont touch or prick pimples.

try using GARNIER SKIN NATURALS exfoliating face wash.I am twelve and I have pimples and whiteheads alll over my face. Please help.?
ceral or spicy foods has nothing to do with acne, neither does eating junk food!!!!!!!!!!!! Report Abuse

causes of your problem could be one of these or both (1)oily skin (2)hormones, since your in adolescence stage.best way is to keep your face clean by washing it with soap and water.i recommend neutrogena acne prone soap.
Look for a cleanser for oily skin and an astringent/toner, and use a tinted moisturizer for oily skin. Cleanse, exfoliate, freshen, and moisturize every morning and night.
Keep your face CLEAN. Soap and water. Stridex helped me a lot but that was a LONG time ago, they might have something better now. Seabreeze was also nice.

But most of all, keep your face CLEAN.
Wash your face twice a day with a regular bar of soap, that is fragrance free like ivory. I like the Dove Beauty bar. If you wash twice a day it will cut the oil and get rid of the dirt that clogs your pores causing acne. Also exfoliate once a week, this means take a loofah face pad and with the soap you use, like the Dove Beauty Bar scrub the dead skin off with it. That gives you fresher skin and helps get rid of the dirt and any soapy build up in your pores. Try this before you spend alot of money like on products like Proactiv. Washing good is all most people need. You can also get an astringent to use after you wash to get any soap and dirt you may have missed and a spot treatment like Oxy 10, that you apply to pimples to help dry them up. After a few weeks if you see no improvement then you may just be acne prone , in that case I also recommend Proactiv, it's a very good product, if you use it correctly and don't stop using it when you clear up, keep using it or the acne will come right back.

P.S. Drink lots and lots of water!
First, it's not the age and there is so much you can do....the age is blamed because of how badly we eat for 12 years -that's about the time toxins start coming out of the body - anything bad we put in - a lot more products for hair, body and our food has more and more harsh chemicals that get stuck so come out like pimples -

Immediate relief - Dr. Murad system for acne

Long term - drink hot boiled water daily to flush all that stuff out

I got rid of acne by putting in thyme aromatherapy into the zits as they would pop

I like the Dr. Murad sulfur zit treatment and salicylic acid stuff and drinking really really hot water - keep in thermos all day and drink like tea - drink it as hot as you can - hope that helps
GET PROACTNIY AND WASH YOUR FACE
get some clearasil 10% (benzoyl peroxide) ... you are getting to an age when you will have your monthly period. Hormones and stuff... You should also notice you are liking boys more and more...
Wash your face no more than twice a day. Use a clay mask 1-2 times a week and exfoliate 1-2 times a week. Use products with salacylic acid and benzol peroxide. Also it will help if you get regular facials.
I have almost the same problem

1. Try a product called Stridex (but ask your doc bout it too!!!!)

2.if Stridex doesn't work try Clearskin (again ask doc!!!)
I recommend Tea tree oil or facial wash for acne, spots and pimples
I am 18... I remember When i begain getting acne at your age i was so embarrased i thought i was too young and i didnt wear makeup so i coudnt conceal it. But I recomment Clean and Clear Morning burst (its orange) it works like charm also OXY pads....especially if your ace gets oily. Do not let your face get oily, do not eat too much fast food and rinse out your mouth after you eat. haha I know it sounds weird but it works!
WHATEVER YOU DO, please don't use rubbing alcohol, like the girl above me told you to do. It is way too harsh to just leasurely put it on your face. It will dry out your skin, and jumpstart the oil glands in your face, which will cause more acne. When I was your age, I used Differin gel, from a prescription. IT WORKED GREAT!! Or, like someone else said, get Proactiv. It works really great for everyone that I know that has used it. I really hope that you aren't over-washing your face, because that will cause you to break out also. Use a cleanser with salicylic acid, and an oil free moisturizer. I can't really tell you any more than that, because it is your skin, and everyone has a personal gameplan that will help their skin look fantastic. If you have the money, start experimenting with masks and scrubs made for your skin type, and different brands of cleansers, until you find they system that works best for you. Another thing is to make sure that you're drinking enough water, and eating healthy foods. Good luck to you!! :)
I would go to the beauty/makeup section of a department store like Nordstrom or Macy's and ask the workers at the Clinique counter for help. They usually are very helpful and will let you try different kinds of skincare products to try to find what is best for your skin. The Clinique brand is the budget line of Estee Lauder, so it's probably within your price range (you're only 12, so I assume you have a limited income). If you're willing to go a bit pricier, check out Prescriptives (also Estee Lauder) Estee Lauder's own line, or Shiseido (my friends with very sensitive skin like this one)

I realize you're young so you might not wear makeup yet, however you may have sensitive skin which is reacting to any makeup you might be wearing. If you have oily skin, stay away from any liquid foundation and stick with a light/breathable powder.

Hope this helps!
OMG!! ur life is over...lol..jk...I HIGHLY SUGGEST seeing a derm. because only he/she will figure out what kind of skin you have..and what's best for you...and believe it or not..some of the things that say will help..actually make it worst..i mean it works on some people..but sometimes it's just not what you need..
ok im 12 also i had a few pimples on my forehead u no what ur options r? the natrual way? 1.well u could soak ur face wit water before u sleep lol trust me it works 4 me when i get a pimple or 2.u could put ur go to the beach lol no need just go get a bowl n put salt in it n soak ur face with it and the last suggestion from me,3. this 1 workes for my sis lol rubbing alcohal n thats it

If you can buy some proactiv or ask your parents to get it for you. Its roughly 40 dollars for a 2 month supply and 20 for a month. You can try it out, if it doesnt work for you than you have the option of getting a full refund, that you can tell your parents.

It really does work, always had acne since i was 10! and recently started using it and love it!

Also if you are wearing make up now, you should check to see that it is a non pore clogging make up. That goes for moisturizers as well, which you should start using at a young age as well.
