How to treat blackheads and whiteheads?

ei guys, i need help...

how can i eliminate blackheads and whiteheads on my nose?

we've got the same problem with my sister and friends...

plus, now... i've got a stuborn pimple on the tip of my nose... it's already been a week or more, but it's still there... i'm afraid that it'll stay there forever...How to treat blackheads and whiteheads?
Blackheads and whiteheads are difficult to remove, but you should not squeeze your skin to pull them out or try to bust them. This will only cause bleeding and scarring. To eliminate them, you need to find a deep cleansing scrub that will gently lift them, cleanse beneath your epidermis, and smooth your skin. But, if at all possible, avoid alcohols, acids, and peroxides as a means to get rid of them. This will only dry out and tear your skin while making it more irritated. Find something natural. While you are waiting to go to the store or get something, here's a remedy you can try from home.

Home remedy for blackheads

Step 1: Get a small bowl

Step 2: Find some baking soda

Step 3: Pour ½ cup of baking soda in a bowl, mix it with crushed oatmeal, 1 tablespoon of water, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, and 1 teaspoon of olive oil

Step 4: Massage this gently over all skin that has blackheads. Scrub for 30-60 seconds.

This mixture works particularly well for blackheads on your nose. But, if you don't like oatmeal, or are allergic, try substituting apricot kernels. You can find them at your local health food store.

Home remedy for whiteheads:

#1: Try opening up your pores by steaming you face. Pour hot water in a bowl or in your basin. If in a bowl, heat the water in your microwave for about 3-5 minutes and place your face over the bowl for 10 to 15 seconds. Do this three times. But, be careful not to scald your face. Take some ice cubes out of the fridge after doing this and rub them over your face.

#2: Scrub your face with baking soda and lemon juice.

The other best option is to try an all natural, deep penetrating scrub. The best that I have discovered through personal use is No More Shame Scrub. It works extremely fast because it uses organic sugar cane and essential oils as its base. This exfoliates and smoothes the skin wonderfully and removes blackheads and whiteheads by controlling oil secretion and killing bacteria. Depending on how many blackheads or whiteheads you have, you can see significant results within 3 days to a week. biore strips..they are made esp. for this problem..they work great
Leave It Alone! Clean With Anti-Bacterial Soap! Do Not Dry Out Your Face!
well blackheads are caused by surface dirt and whiteheads are formed underneatch the skin, so they need to be treated differently. blackheads you usually can eliminate by using a scrub or peel. however whiteheads need to be ready before you extract them, they need to be, well white...to make sure you they are ready tho you might take a steaming hot towel and put it on the whitehead area, or you can mix a little water with a little baking soda to make a paste and put it on...it will help to pull the whitehead to the surface. it will help if you make sure you are hydrated as well and maybe use a spot treatment on the affected area.
I have the same problem exept for the pimple. Use clearasol ultra . Go to walmart and it is like $4
read this in a magazine loooong time ago, lol, toothpaste for pimples......some people say it doesn't work but it always worked for me and my sister and a couple of our friends.....you just put a teeny tiny bit on the pimple and leave it for like an hour then wash your face
Ughhh I HATE that. Try using Cetaphil soap and lotion. It's non scented and it won't clog your pores it's the best =]
try facial cleansers with the ingredient:

triclosan-a skin disinfectant cleaner

(avon or melaleuca.com)

or

salicylic acid--actually removes layers of skin to penetrate to the source of the inflammation

(avon or clearsil)

or

benzyl peroxide--probably the fastest working, but leaves your skin dry.

(proactiv or generic versions of it, like proacne)

good luck. worst case scenario, go to the dermatologist-they can prescribe things specific to your needs and if you have insurance, your medication co-pay is usually cheaper than what you would spend on different over the counter products at your local Wal-Mart.
ok for the pimple put a hot rag on it
