For the spots - we call them zits in the USA - you probably have a virus on your skin. Try washing your face thoroughly with a gentle soap (like Ivory) and water as hot as you can stand (from the tap only). After that, dry your face with a clean towel and apply an ointment like Regular Neosporin - not too much, just a light coating will do - and massage it in. Do this first thing in the morning and last thing in the evening before bed.





Remember to change your pillow case every day and always use fresh, clean towels and washcloths to prevent the spread of bacteria/germs.





The blackheads will clear up on their own once you get the spots under control. Try an astringent containing salicylic acid - can get this at the pharmacy over the counter (the chemist's). Noxema's Triple Clean line is superb!





For whiteheads, try gently exfoliating your face twice a week with a scrub containing ground up apricot pits - I like St Ives.





Hormones have a lot to do with it, too.
