How do u get rid of Blackheads / Whiteheads?

Face HELP!How do u get rid of Blackheads / Whiteheads?
Smash them, get the head out and put alcohol on face,How do u get rid of Blackheads / Whiteheads?
wash face
For blackheads any spot cream can get rid of them really.

You just have to apply it A LOT and be consistant.

Spot creams all have the same objective. Being ANTI-BACTERIALl (bateria causes spots) and drying up the skin or at least CONTROLLING EXCESS OIL. It will preferably have vitamins/ skin feeding stuff in it too.

The stuff I have works if I use it all the time. (I'll list the ingredients because I don't like the company who sells it and anyway I'm not here to advertise) You just need to find what works best for your skin.

(If you're interested mines has Zinc Ozide ';to reduce oil secretion'; Salicylic Acid ';to help remove dead skin cells'; and some random chemicals and herbalish stuff like garlic tannis, Aloe Vera extract and Amino Acids ';to start the healing process'; )

I've used Benzoyle Peroxide (zindaclin as one example) in the past which also works good for blackheads if used consistantly (but I wouldn't recommend BP as it's a very harsh chemical and drying/damaging to the skin, it also made my skin react by turning insanely oily every few hours )

Some blackheads seem to get bigger as they are disappearing and it's necessary to ';extract'; those, and any others that are bothering you.

You can get extractors online or in chemists or the Body Shop. It's just a little metal stick with a hole and you press it gently to pop or squij the blackhead out. DON'T use it on whiteheads it's not designed for them and will also hurt cos it's the wrong size!.

While we're on the subject, try never to pop whiteheads (you probably know all that already)

Before you put your creams on and before you do any extractions make sure you've washed your face clean with warm water or steamed it. (make sure you have clean hands also if you're going to be touchin')

Don't use regular soap or handwash on your face.

For clear skin it's necessary to find a cleanser (that you like) and use it one a day so you can attempt to wash away the bacteria, oils and dead skin before they have a chance to build up in your pores and turn black(headed!) or infect (whiteheads)

For whiteheads I suggest witchhazel which has aloe vera (or get aloe vera on its own) The more ';natural'; spot cream I talked about earlier works quite well for whiteheads too. Find a product which is ANTI-BACTERIAL (that's basically how BP works, it's a chemical anti-bacterial along with drying out the skin- less oil=less spots) and ANTI-INFLAMITORY (skin calming)

It's extremely counter productive if you don't drink enough (plain, not flavoured etc) WATER because your skin needs water and it will clear it.

In some cases drinking water and cutting out bad foods is enough to clear up your skin (along with cleaning it of course!)

So really try. You should aim for about 2 litres per day if possible but work your way up to that much, I know it's hard.

Pay attention to if any foods make you break you out. No one food is ';bad'; Even chocolate. It's just that people are naturally sensitive to certain foods, especially junk foods. For me coke and sugary things are terrible.

Good luck, and sorry this is long but I tried to explain why I've suggested what I did.
I like to use Biore' nose strips. They pull out the crud in my pores. They sound a little odd, but they work for me. If that doesnt work just make sure you wash your face at least once a day, even twice. I like to use Clean and Clear morning burst facial scrub in the morning.
Use Noxema blackhead face wash it works wonders in just days. And its very affordable.
